Located 13km North of Tralee Co.Kerry, Fenit is an atmospheric fishing village buzzing with activities, wellness and Atlantic coastal atmosphere. Fenit is a destination for swimmers, sailors, cyclists and those who just want to relax and soak up all of what this special point on the Irish Atlantic coastline has to offer. Connected with the new Tralee to Fenit Greenway, visitors can run, walk or cycle directly into the heart of the village on this new protected and peaceful corridor which terminates at the blue flag Lockes Beach. The community in Fenit are active in protecting and preserving the areas cultural and environmental identity and regularly host events and activities to further enhance a visitors understanding of this historic coastal village.

Kellys Beach

The quieter and less popular Kellys Beach is a particularly charming spot which regularly offers a peaceful place to park up and enjoy views across Tralee bay and Fenit Harbour. A good place for young families and kids who like to use the old slipway as a diving/jumping platform.

Lockes Beach

The main beach in Fenit, a blue flag stretch of coastline extremely popular with visitors of all ages. Next to the Fenit playground and the final stop on the Tralee to Fenit Greenway, this beach has good parking facilities, toilets and is across the road from a great coffee shop, Mikes.

Fenit Island Beach

A very special streatch of sand, or Tomobolo, that connects the mainland to Fenit Island. Popular with dog walkers and those who want to escape the larger crowds in Fenit Village. This area is an environmentally protected area so if visiting please respect the signage and stasy off the dunes.

NAVO CAFE

An 'Off-Broadway' coffee lovers destination, Navo is regularly buzzing with locals and visitors who are coming or going from their Fenit activity. Al fresco covered seating with lots of space provides a great setting to enjoy your perfectly poured caffeine and gourmet toastie. Always good vibes at Navo.

MIKES BEACH CAFE

A Fenit institution located in the heart of the village Mikes Beach Café provides an authentic coastal coffee shop experience serving up great coffee, delicious baked treats and a fantastic vegetarian lunch menu.

THE WEST END

The only Bar/Restaurant in Fenit the West End is a great spot in any weather conditions. The kitchen serves bar food and a la carte , fresh seafood always on the menu, and if the weather is suitable, a seat outside to watch the summer sun set over Fenit is a must.

Fenit Sea Safari

Fenit Sea Safari provides an exhilarating tour of Tralee Bay, travelling all the way past Barrow Harbour, Maharees and Brandon Head. Skipper, Gary, recalls stories of recent maritime history and ancient Irish folklore as you visit multiple Kerry coastal landmarks. Keep an eye out for seals, dolphins and native sea birds.

FENIT GREENWAY

The Tralee to Fenit Greenway is a 13km of protected pathway built upon the old Fenit railway line. Terminating in the heart of Fenit Village the greenway provides a brilliant active travel gateway to the area and can be enjoyed by all ager groups, walking, cycling, running or skating.
